Preparation of the Foot Before the Intervention
In order to be able to perform the procedure on your foot in the best possible conditions, certain hygiene measures must be taken before the procedure. The last nail treatment (cutting, podiatry treatment) and the last shaving or depilation of the foot or leg must be carried out at least one week before the intervention in order to avoid possible cuts wounds or other skin irritations. All the nails must be free of varnish or gel on the day of the intervention and your foot must be washed the morning of the intervention using the antiseptic soap given during the anesthesiologic consultation.
